A tribute to Michael

This is Michael Dillon, our first caretaker on our long and wonderful journey.

He drove hours to pick us up, bought us beautiful food, took us in to his home, made us even more beautiful food, and was our personal concierge. He introduced us to Irish and family history, and a host of castles, cathedrals and monasteries, live and in ruins. He drove us all over the country, teaching us history and culture, and dialoguing with us about religion, politics, the priesthood and modern trends. He spent weeks of vacation, many dollars, hours on the road and much personal effort making our trip to Ireland unforgettable. Thank you Michael, our debt of gratitude to you is too deep to be properly repaid.
